A national supplier of truck equipment bodies and cargo van bodies was using a competitor’s coating as their undercoating on van body structural supports. The competitor’s product is a hot melt coating that requires the product to be heated to melting point temperature in order for it to be applied, creating a potential safety hazard when working with the hot liquid. The company was also using rubberized aerosol coating for bodies that were modified for custom lifts and tailgates.
