ZERUST® Axxanol™ 707C
Use ZERUST® Axxanol™ 707C to protect engines, hydraulic systems, and gearboxes against corrosion during lay-up, shipping, or other storage applications. Axxanol™ 707C is a VCI Oil Additive that provides corrosion protection through ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Technology (VCI) that migrates to protect hard-to-reach internal surfaces of engines, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems such as crevices, slots, oil holes, etc. for up to 2 years‡.

Product Description
ZERUST®/EXCOR® Axxanol™ 707C VCI oil additive is a vapor-phase-only corrosion inhibitor concentrate specially designed to be used with lubricating oils for the corrosion protection of metal surfaces within the void spaces of closed systems such as internal combustion engines, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, or other sealed, lubricated systems.
During periods of storage, shipping, or field lay-up, lubricating oils will drain from the interior surfaces of systems and flow back into the sumps leaving these surfaces susceptible to corrosion caused by condensation of humid air. When mixed with new, respective, approved lubricating oils per system set, Axxanol™ 707C emits corrosion-protective vapor-phase molecules into the void spaces that adsorb to these exposed surfaces, thus offering excellent and extended periods of corrosion protection of void space for up to 2 years‡ for these systems, dependent on the degree of closure.
