ZERUST® Axxatec™ 85-F water-based VCI rust preventative combines the power of a water-based rust preventative with ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors (VCIs) to protect ferrous metals. It is designed for use as a foggable rust protection for the inside void spaces of tanks, packages, and enclosures.
ZERUST®/EXCOR® Axxatec™ 85-F is a foggable aqueous-based VCI rust preventative liquid. It protects ferrous metals via contact inhibitors and proven ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Technology (VCI). ZERUST® VCI molecules migrate to provide protection on even hard-to-reach areas within an enclosed space. It forms a clear, thin, dry-to-touch coating and is safe for use on painted surfaces, rubber seals, and plastics. Not for use on metals other than ferrous. For multimetal compatible solutions, check with your ZERUST® representative.
