ZERUST®/EXCOR® Axxatec™ 87-M is a foggable water-based rust preventative with ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors (VCIs), designed to protect metals inside void spaces of tanks, packages, and enclosures. In addition, it protects ferrous metals and is multimetal compatible.

Product Description
Axxatec™ 87-M is a foggable water-based rust preventative that protects ferrous metals via contact inhibitors and proven ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Technology (VCI). ZERUST® VCI molecules migrate to protect hard-to-reach areas within an enclosed space. The rust preventative forms a clear, thin, dry-to-touch coating and is safe for use on most painted surfaces, rubber seals, and plastics. In addition, it is compatible with other metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, and nickel alloys, etc.
Use Axxatec™ 87-M to protect ferrous metals and surfaces within void spaces from rust during assembly, shipping, and storage. The product comes ready to use and can be applied by fogging or pressurized spray. It is ideal for fogging into CKDs (Complete Knock-Down Kits) or packaging holding components with voids and chambers. To gain the benefit of VCI protection, use in a tightly sealed enclosure or void. The rust preventative provides up to 1 year‡ of protection indoors or in plain packaging and up to 5 years‡ in hermetically sealed spaces or ZERUST®/EXCOR® VCI packaging.
