Axxatec™ 87-MW3 is a winterized foggable aqueous-based rust preventative liquid product that combines the power of a water-based rust preventative with ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors (VCIs). It is designed for use as foggable protection for the inside void spaces of tanks, packages, and enclosures in cold weather applications. It protects ferrous metals and is multimetal compatible.

Product Description
ZERUST® Axxatec™ 87-MW3 is a winterized, foggable water-based rust preventative liquid product that offers a lower freezing point for cold weather applications. It protects ferrous, and aluminum metals via contact inhibitors and proven ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Technology (VCI) and is compatible with most yellow metals (copper, brass, bronze, etc.) ZERUST® VCI molecules migrate to protect even hard-to-reach areas within an enclosed space. It forms a clear, thin coating and is safe for use on most rubber seals and plastics.
Use Axxatec™ 87-MW3 to protect bare metal surfaces and void spaces during assembly, shipping, and storage. The product comes ready to use and can be applied by fogging or pressurized spray. It is ideal for fogging into complex machine assemblies or components with voids and chambers. To gain the benefit of the VCI, use it in a tightly sealed, foggable enclosure or void. Axxatec™ 87-MW3 provides up to 1 year‡ of protection in plain packaging and up to 5 years‡ in hermetically sealed spaces or ZERUST® VCI packaging.
