Product Description
ZERUST® ActivDri™ Desiccant VCI Capsule protects ferrous and aluminum metals in enclosed spaces by utilizing Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Technology (VCI) to prevent corrosion. Additionally, the capsule contains a silica-gel desiccant to combat humidity that affects metals and electronics. In addition, it is designed to protect large voids inside critical items during shipment and storage.
The ActivDri™ capsule includes a durable coated steel cable to aid in positioning and removing the unit from the center of a void space. Hence, the cable is affixed to the capsule at multiple points to provide a secure hold. Finally, remove the capsule when the protected item is ready for service.
Use ActivDri™ Desiccant VCI Capsules to protect electronics, equipment, and assets, especially in corrosive environments such as salty air, sewage treatment plants, or power plants. As well as combating humidity, ActivDri™ VCI forms an invisible shield that provides powerful protection. Additionally, the capsule reduces flash-rust incidents, even in challenging environments.
Lastly, do not place the capsule in direct contact with metals and test before use with copper and brass.

*Protection capabilities are rated for an enclosure that is airtight with an RH level of less than 40%. Therefore, for more humid, dirty, and/or enclosures opened often, use multiple ActivDri™ capsules or replace them more often.
