Guitar strings are shipped worldwide and are subjected to humidity, temperature changes, and long storage times, which can cause corrosion. Strings are made of sensitive steel, phosphorus bronze, brass, and copper metals with proprietary coatings and require packaging that integrates corrosion protection.
